Reaching the editorial desk

CamoCrypt is a small editorial operation, and we welcome contact from readers. You can reach the editorial desk in two ways: through the contact form on this page, or by email at editor@camocryptcom.org. Both reach the same place. We read everything that comes in, though we cannot promise an individual reply to every message.

To help us respond usefully, please be specific. If your message is about a particular article, include its URL and quote the passage you are writing about. If you are reporting an error, tell us what is wrong and, where you can, point us to a source we can check.

What we do respond to

We are glad to hear from you about:

• Corrections and errors. If you have found something inaccurate, unsafe, or out of date, this is the most valuable message you can send us. See our corrections policy for what happens next.
• Questions about our methods. How we sourced a claim, why we framed something a certain way, or how our editorial and AI policy applies to a piece.
• Story tips and topic suggestions. Attack patterns you are seeing, techniques you think deserve a clear explainer, or gaps in existing coverage. We cannot promise to cover any given suggestion, and we do not pay for tips.
• Clarifications. If a security explanation was unclear and left you unsure what to do, tell us — that usually means we can write it better.

What we cannot respond to

Some requests we are simply unable to help with, and it is fairer to say so plainly than to leave you waiting:

• “Recover my funds” requests. We cannot help you recover lost or stolen cryptocurrency. We are a publication, not a recovery service, and no one can reverse a confirmed transaction or restore a lost seed phrase. Please do not send us wallet details, seed phrases, private keys, or transaction hashes in the hope that we can retrieve funds — we cannot, and you should never share those with anyone. Our disclaimer explains this in more detail, including why unsolicited “recovery services” are themselves a scam.
• Personalised financial or investment advice. We do not tell anyone what to buy, sell, or hold, and we will not comment on whether a particular asset or move is right for you. That is outside our remit and something only a licensed professional who knows your situation should do.
• Token promotion, paid placement, or “reviews.” We do not accept payment to feature, recommend, or cover any token, project, wallet, exchange, or service, and messages of this kind will not receive a substantive reply.

A note on how we contact you

We only ever contact you in reply to a message you sent us first. We do not send unsolicited direct messages, and we never reach out offering to recover funds, refund losses, or manage money. If you receive a DM or message claiming to be from CamoCrypt and offering help of that kind, it is an impersonation — please ignore it, and if you like, let us know so we are aware. Legitimate correspondence from us comes from the editorial address above, in response to you.

Security and privacy of your message

Please do not include secrets in anything you send us — no seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or recovery details, ever. We do not need them, we do not want them, and no legitimate party should. Information you send through the contact form or by email is handled as described in our privacy policy: we use it only to respond to you and to improve the publication, and we do not sell it.
